Hi,

RS-274D files doesn't contain any information about the apertures (tracks and pads sizes).
The aperture file is usually generated as a separate file by the PCB application when the Gerber files are generated.
Which PCB system was used to generate the Gerber file?

Hello,

i'm not shure, because the file comes from my customer.

But if i loot into the header of the file, i found "CAM350/DFMSTREAM V10.9 (Build 664)".

I've got 49 Layers (*.gbr) an 1 *.gap-File.

If i choose this GAP-File, i got as result (see attachment) a mix of Parameters and Lines.

Best Regards

Hi,

We could take a closer look at the GAP file if it is possible to send it to us.
It would be great help if you could include one of the Gerber layers too.

The GAP file may contain the needed aperture information.

Support for DFMSTREAM GAPFile Version 3.0 aperture files was added in 7.59.

Please go the GerbView update page for more details regarding this update, and download links:

we have the same issue. the original cad software is unknown, but in the zip file that contains the gerber files is a file with the .apr extension, we understand to be the old D format aperature file. How do we use this .apr file data to convert the gerbers to the newer X format?

If you can send us the aperture file we will try to add support for that format to GerbView.
It would be great if you you could include one or more of the Gerber files too.

here is the zip file with all of the gerber files included. The APR file likely contains the apereture data
